Breaking thick concrete with an excavator is better than trying to cut it up! Just pick up a side and it will crack, then pick up the chunk and drop it. Big bang, then movable pieces appear. Simple... unless its a foot thick.
Samwise, born to Quinta, didn't grow, even with 3 gallons per day of milk for several months. But the kids did have fun riding the stocky little calf. Here he is almost 5 months old.
Submitted to the engineer in Spokane on May 17th, he got stamped drawings back to us July 16, approximately 6 weeks after the promised target. This delay preceded getting quotes for materials. When the $41,000 in quotes were in hand early August, we made the executive decision that it was going to be too expensive, after excavation, rock, drain tile, plumbing, power, etc. So we postponed the barn until 2023. We will have the site ready and the drawings in hand. Hopefully building material prices will continue to drop (went from $47 to $21 per sheet of OSB in this time period).
With Josh's mom coming for a month of milk only diet, she needed a soaker tub to complete the protocol described in this book. We got a full sized tub on Craigslist, and bought this trailer from a local. Some minimum flooring, and we were busy at work. Then we got rained out for a month, and she went home.... Maybe next year Finally got the flooring glued on July 25th. Then tarped it for storage until next year with all the parts to finish the project.
