Availability and pricing of Eggs, Pork, Beef
Eggs

These chickens graze year round on pasture and have large, bright deep orange yolks with a variety of shell colors. In addition to bugs and greens, they receive Zak's Feed's pea-barley layer mix. Sold in our milk pickup room, they are first-come-first-fed.

Pork
​Our milk-fed pork receives skim milk, whey, and Zak's Feed's pea-barley pig mix. While alive, pigs enjoy roaming in a fenced forested area. We try to buy piglets in the spring, and slaughter around 350lbs in August through November. We use Garfield Meats - fill out their cutting instructions. View their prices here. You pay us for the pig (see our Availability and Pricing page), based on hanging weight, and Garfield Meats for the butchering.
Beef
We are partnering with Treasure Ridge Ranch (TRR) in Viola Idaho, a supplier of alfalfa hay for our dairy, to get our dairy-beef cross calves raised and to procure quality beef for our customers. It will be purchased from TRR, and butchered at Garfield Meats or Potlatch Pack, based on TRR's preference.

    Beef, Pork, and Egg Ordering

    Egg size varies, but is usually large. If you commit to a purchase amount, you will get priority for receiving eggs, otherwise first come first serve. Even if you don't want to commit, let us know how many you would like so we can target this production.
    We sell pork for $3.50/lb hanging weight (around 235lb per whole pig). Cut and wrapped weight cannot be guaranteed, but is usually around 67% of hanging weight. Your cost will be animal cost (to us) plus your fraction of the kill fee ($80), plus $1.05/lb cut and wrap fee, paid to Garfield Meats (cash or check only).     We sell beef for $3.75/lb hanging weight (around 480lb per whole beef). Cut and wrapped weight cannot be guaranteed, but is usually around 60% of hanging weight. Your cost will be animal cost (to us) plus your fraction of the kill fee ($175), plus $1.05/lb cut and wrap fee, paid to Garfield Meats (cash or check only).     We can request beef be butchered at different times, depending on when people would like it butchered.
