Our milk production ebbs and flows with the seasons. We have extra from May-Sept, so that's the best time to stock up or freeze milk for the winter. If we have to ration, we preferentially provide customers with children under 12 or with health conditions. Become a Customer: Please fill out the form to the right, and we will contact you. Please read our FAQS page for more information about milk pickups, jar deposits, etc.
Price: We invite customers to join in our dairy endeavor through contributions. We do not have a set price for the milk in order to make raw milk accessible to all incomes, but to learn how much it costs us to produce the milk, view this linked PDF ~ roughly $12.50/gal. We accept cash, check, or card. You can use the 'Pay Now' button below to pay for your milk. Please do not pay for milk online unless you are an established customer.

Grade "A" Whole Raw Cows' Milk

Cows & Calves
Our raw milk comes from our lovely Brown Swiss (Jewel, Liberty, Feliz, Athol, Bessy, and Camas), and Swiss x Jersey (in 2024 Trish and Ultima, and Lizzie in 2025) cows. Six of our nine cows have Beta-Casein type A2 milk, and three are 50% A2, that is, A1A2 - we label their milk as A1. In raw milk, the difference between A1 and A2 milk is minimal, but we can get you exclusively A2 if requested most times of the year. Our ladies graze from late April to early October, weather permitting, and eat grass and alfalfa hay in the winter months. Twice a day at milking time we feed them 2 to 4 pounds of a locally grown non-GMO pea-barley mix from Zaks Feed, kelp, and minerals. Feeding less grain maintains their health and longevity, improves their milk's nutrient profile, but sacrifices daily production.
Our calves are given colostrum for their first three days, and then enjoy plenty of whole milk, hay, and grass when in season.
If you would ever like to meet our animals or try your hand at milking, we would be delighted. |
