Become a Customer: Fill out the form to the right (or below if on a phone), and we will contact you. Please read our FAQS page for more information about milk pickups, jar deposits, cream, butter, etc. We may have a pickup group for your location, so be sure to ask in your comments! Availability: Milk comes in 1/2 gal and 1 gal glass jars.
Our milk production ebbs and flows with the seasons. We have extra from May-Sept, so that's the best time to stock up or freeze milk for the winter. If we have to ration, we preferentially provide milk to customers with children under 12 or with health conditions. Price: We do not set a price for our milk. We believe God wants us to provide milk to everyone who wants it, regardless their ability to pay..., like grace; we are passing along His abundance!
For those who want to know what it costs us to produce a gallon of milk, you can read this PDF. You can pay in-person with cash, check, credit, or SNAP/Food Stamps. Or you can pay online using these two options; 1. A Variable Amount button for milk only payments, in which you choose the amount. or 2. The AE Online Store button which allows you to purchase milk and other products together. The Variable Amount button below is for milk only payments. Do not pay for eggs or chicken with this button please.

Grade "A" Whole Raw Cows' Milk

Cows & Calves
Our raw milk comes from our lovely Brown Swiss (Jewel, Liberty, Feliz), Jersey x Red Angus (Buttercup), and Swiss x Jersey (Trish and Ultima) cows. All of our cows have Beta-Casein type A2 milk.
Our ladies graze from late April to early October, weather permitting, and eat grass and alfalfa hay in the winter months. Twice a day at milking time we feed them modest amounts of locally grown non-GMO pea-triticale mix from Zaks Feed, kelp, and minerals. Feeding less grain maintains their health and longevity, improves their milk's nutrient profile, but sacrifices daily production. Our calves are given colostrum for their first three days, and then enjoy plenty of whole milk, hay, and grass when in season.
If you would ever like to meet our animals or try your hand at milking, we would be delighted. |
