Tearing down the barn

When we asked Dad what he wanted to do for his birthday, he said, "Let's tear down the barn!" And that is what we did. With the help of Kellen Smick and the bucket truck, we got the main part taken down in one day, and the next week was filled with processing the wood and taking apart the smaller section of the barn.

Above is the barn before we started tearing it down.

Above is the smaller section we took apart with crowbars and hammers.

We made two piles of all the junk wood to burn. This is the smaller pile.
